Yo-Wo

The Jean Monnet Association, represented by Miguel Ángel Martín Ramos, Vice-president, and Alberto Lorente, Member of the Board, is meeting its European partners from the Yo-Wo Cities Network (Young Workforce - Youth and Gender Equality for Europe`s Welfare) to coordinate the launch of the network and the next tasks to be carried out. The meeting was also attended by representatives from La Pobla Llarga Town Council (Spain), the Bulgarian Youth Association (Bulgaria), CARDET (Cyprus), the Velenje Youth Centre (Slovenia), Rhenen Town Council (Netherlands), Ujszilvas Town Council (Hungary) and the Autokreakja Foundation (Poland). The project, led by La Pobla Llarga Town Council (Spain), aims to raise awareness and reflect on youth employment in Europe and gender disparities.

Represented by Miguel Ángel Martín Ramos, Vice-president, Monica Radu, Vice-president and Alberto Lorente, member of the Board of Directors, the AJM is meeting its European partners from the Yo-Wo Cities Network: at Pobla Llarga, in Valencia, for the first working meeting of the project. We presented the work of the project's partner organisations and coordinated the launch of the network and the forthcoming activities and events to be held in 2023 and 2024. We begin the meeting with a presentation on European values, the history of the EU and the importance of Jean Monnet in the process of European integration. The project partners are La Pobla Llarga Town Council (Spain), the Bulgarian Youth Association (Bulgaria), CARDET (Cyprus), the Velenje Youth Centre (Slovenia), Rhenen Town Council (Netherlands), Ujszilvas Town Council (Hungary), the Autokreakja Foundation (Poland) and the Yuste Foundation, a strategic partner of the Jean Monnet Association.The project, led by La Pobla Llarga Town Council (Spain), aims to raise awareness and reflect on youth employment in Europe and gender disparities.

Second meeting of the Yo-Wo network of cities in Velenje (Velenie), Slovenia, where we will be sharing our experiences and best practices in youth projects. Activities at the two-day event include discussions with local experts on the theme of "What opportunities does the EU offer?" on Erasmus+ projects, EVS (European Voluntary Service) and youth exchanges, among others. We had debates with local students on European opportunities where young people will discover the importance of participating in EU policies and each partner explored how to implement these strategies in their municipalities or entities. We had street actions: "Local Europe" where we conducted interviews with local citizens on EU youth policies. The AJM was represented by intern Zacharie Schaerlinger and its vice-president Miguel Ángel Martín Ramos, in collaboration with the Yuste Foundation, a strategic partner of the Jean Monnet Association.

Third meeting of the Yo-Wo project in Gorlice, Poland. Here we will be sharing our experiences and good practice in youth projects, this time focusing on volunteering, disability and immigration, organised by the Autokreacja Foundation. The meeting included exchanges with local experts, NGOs, the public administration and the private sector, who showed us how they work together in these areas. The AJM was represented by stagaire Zacharie Schaerlinger and vice-president Miguel Ángel Martín Ramos, in collaboration with the Yuste Foundation, a strategic partner of the Jean Monnet Association.

We have just arrived in Rotterdam for the Yo-Wo project meeting with partners from the Netherlands, Cyprus, Poland, Hungary, Spain, Bulgaria, Italy and Slovenia.

We start today in Rotterdam, in the Netherlands 🇳🇱, with the fifth meeting of the Yo-Wo Cities Network project (Young Workforce - Youth and Gender Equality for Europe`s Welfare) under the EU CESR programme (Citizenship, Equality, Rights and Values) where we will be sharing our experiences and good practice on youth projects over three days.

We continue in Rotterdam, the Netherlands 🇳🇱, with the fifth meeting of the Yo-Wo Cities Network project (Young Workforce - Youth and Gender Equality for Europe`s Welfare) as part of the EU's CESR (Citizenship, Equality, Rights and Values) programme. Today was devoted to analysing the reasons for youth unemployment in the EU and its consequences for the future of Europe, particularly with regard to the forthcoming European elections in June 2024, as well as examining ways of improving gender equality in the promotion of youth employment.

The Jean Monnet Association welcomes its partners for an initial study day in Paris at the Assemblée Nationale and then at the Europa Expérience Paris.

The second day of this meeting takes place at the Maison de Jean Monnet.

We start today in Vratsa, Bulgaria 🇧🇬, with the seventh meeting of the Yo-Wo Cities Network project (Young Workforce - Youth and Gender Equality for Europe`s Welfare) under the EU CERV (Citizenship, Equality, Rights and Values) programme, where we will be sharing experience and good practice on youth projects over three days.

We will be hosted by the Bulgarian Youth Association at the Vratsa Youth Centre, and the aim of the conference will be, through various workshops, to analyse actions and strategies targeting youth and social innovation through European policies; to share good practice on European projects linked to youth; to generate ideas on social innovation in the field of youth; to share good practice in the field of European projects linked to youth; to improve the working conditions of young people entering the market for the first time; to improve the working conditions of young people entering the market for the first time; to improve the working conditions of young people entering the market for the first time; Improve the working conditions of young people entering the labour market for the first time and create a graphic guide on how to manage the working conditions of young people on the front line.
