Second working day in Újszilvás, Hungría🇭🇺, of the fourth meeting of the Yo-Wo Cities Network project (Young Workforce - Youth and Gender Equality for Europe`s Welfare) as part of the European CESR (Citizenship, Equality, Rights and Values) programme. Today's programme was devoted to sharing best practice on initiatives to tackle the impact of Covid on youth unemployment and gender equality, debating European decision-making processes and policies relating to youth and equality, and creating an infographic showing the main results of the project so that they can be easily transferred to other territories and municipalities.

Yesterday, we also visited some of the projects presented during the morning session, examples of integrating young people into the labour market and promoting gender equality, such as Ferzol, one of Hungary's largest metalworking plants, which is chaired and managed by a woman.

in a traditionally male sector, with more than 30 % women in qualified technical positions, and with specific training programmes aimed at young people, to integrate them into the sector in the absence of formal or vocational training.
