Marie-Laure Charles has always been involved in Europe, whether in the languages she speaks (French, English, Spanish and Portuguese), in her studies (Erasmus) and then her professional career, or in her community life. She was vice-president of the European Movement for many years and continues to be its "Defence and Security" referent.
She is also a member of the Bureau of "citoyennes pour l'Europe" and "l'atelier Europe".
In addition to her voluntary work with the ME-F, Marie-Laure Charles is president and founder of the Rotary e-Club Paris International.
She is a naval officer in the citizens' reserve, a French Foreign Trade Advisor and a company director.
