The Association Jean Monnet opens its 3rd edition of the Houjarray conversations.
The Houjarray Foresight Talks are an annual, invitation-only event held at the Maison Jean Monnet, where the Schuman Declaration, the starting point of what is now the European Union, was drafted and discussed between Jean Monnet, Robert Schuman and one or two members of their respective teams. The house, and in particular its dining table and sitting room, played host to an impressive list of high-level decision-makers (including American presidents and other heads of state and government) during Monnet's lifetime, but also afterwards, at the invitation of the Presidents of the European Parliament.
This event, which will take place at the Maison Jean Monnet on the morning of 13 September, is reserved for members of the association.
