We are being hosted by the European Institute for Diplomacy and Politics. The priorities of the meeting will be to analyse the labour market situation in the European partner countries of the project, to create a MATRIX map of gender equality in the European labour market, to reflect on youth unemployment and civic life in Europe, and to develop a protocol for collaboration on EU policies and strategies. We will also look at the role of 'European entrepreneurs' in creating jobs for young people, and discuss youth unemployment and the future of Europe (with a focus on the upcoming European elections).

The project partners are the municipality of La Pobla Llarga (Spain), the Bulgarian Youth Association (Bulgaria), CARDET (Cyprus), the Velenje Youth Centre (Slovenia), the municipality of Rhenen (Netherlands), the municipality of Ujszilvas (Hungary), the Autokreakja Foundation (Poland) and the Jean Monnet Association (France), represented by its vice-president Miguel Ángel Martín Ramos, who is also the Brussels delegate for the Yuste Foundation (Spain/Belgium), represented by Benedetta Zimone, as a strategic partner of the Jean Monnet Association.

The project, led by the town council of La Pobla Llarga (Spain), aims to raise awareness and reflect on youth employment in Europe and the disparities between men and women.
