Essayist, print media and Europe, international, global geostrategy, human rights, public and institutional affairs<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A lecturer in public law at Sciences Po, a specialist in European affairs and the author of numerous articles on European issues in the print media, he appears on television channels to discuss European issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A graduate of the Universities of Paris-X and Paris II, a former student of the IEP-Paris and a graduate of the Institute of Business Administration at Jean Moulin University (Lyon-III), he is the author of numerous proposals on Europe submitted to successive Presidents of the Republic over the past thirty years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The European Union is going through a very difficult period, perhaps even the most serious in its history. For several years now, crises have come thick and fast: the financial crisis, the migration crisis, the Covid-19 pandemic, the war in Ukraine\u2026 But despite these challenges, political and economic solutions have been slow to win people over and produce lasting results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These difficulties have undermined citizens\u2019 confidence in the European project. Unemployment, inequality, fear of the future and the rise of populist parties are calling into question the idea of a united and supportive Europe. Many are questioning the purpose of the European Union and its future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today, more than ever, Europe seems to be in a fragile state. But that does not mean it is doomed. To bounce back, it must rediscover its purpose, reform itself and, above all, reconnect with the values on which it was founded: peace, cooperation and solidarity.
