In the framework of a European Commission project on the situation of women and their rights following the COVID crisis, the Jean Monnet Association proposes a day of debate on 15 April at the Maison Jean Monnet.

Facilitated by experts, we are looking for 30 people to discuss different issues such as violence against women, the right to education, employability and gender equality.

Programme :

9:30 am - Departure from Paris 8th, place Saint Augustin

10:00 - Coffee reception at the Maison Jean Monnet

10:30 - Presentation of the project and workshop on women's rights in times of crisis

11:30 - Round table "What initiatives to support women during Covid 19", in the presence of :

  • Marie-Laure CHARLES, CEO Defence and Security Industry in France and abroad, President and Founder of the Rotary e-Club Paris International, Defence correspondent for the city of Neuilly-sur-Seine
  • Danielle GIRONDIN, President of the association Génération II Citoyenneté Intégration, Chevalier de l'Ordre national du Mérite, Administrator of the CAF de l'Essonne and of the Comité de Bassin Seine Normandie, President of the company RD-M Consulting Energy
  • Marina MONACO, expert advisor to the European Trade Union Confederation, member of the Board of the Jean Monnet Association
  • Monica RADU, moderator, Vice-President of the Jean Monnet Association, in charge of the project Encouraging Women Participation in Times of Pandemic -EnEnWomen.

12:30 - Lunch on site offered

14:00 - Guided tour of the House-Museum

15.00 - Concrete proposals workshop and conclusion of the day

16:00 - Departure for Paris
